Our Adoption Process

Adoption Fees

Puppies & Adult Dogs: $150

Senior Dogs (7 yrs & up): $100

Seniors for Seniors: The adoption fee is waived for people age 65 or more who adopt a senior pet (7 yrs & up), and instead we ask for a donation of any amount.

The following care has been provided:

Distemper & Rabies vaccines*
Bordetella vaccine
Dewormed with Drontal (a dewormer that kills all intestinal worms)
Spayed or neutered, including puppies
Microchip with lifetime registration
Heartworm test if 7 months or older. If positive for heartworms we do heartworm treatment.
All dogs over 7 weeks old receive monthly heartworm preventative while at our shelter
Treatment for fleas and ticks
Our dogs are fed Nature's Select premium dog food

*Puppies not old enough to receive the full distemper series or their first rabies vaccine may be brought back to receive them at no additional charge

You'll also receive:

A leash and collar for your dog
An adoption packet with educational materials

Toys for your dog
AND... We'll give your dog a bath before he/she goes home!
