All
three of our Pets of the Week were originally at the KCK
Animal Control shelter before we transferred them to our shelter
as part of our Ray of
Hope program.
Roo & Rizzo are
two wonderful 3 month old kittens. Roo has a black coat with faint
tabby stripes and a white spot on her chest. She's a very sweet-natured
kitten who loves to play but also likes to be held. Rizzo is a Tuxedo kitten.
She's the adventurous one who loves to play and explore.
Both kittens are big purrers and they get along great together-- they'd
be a wonderful pair for anyone wanting two kittens. They play together
very well, eat and drink together, and curl up together for naps. We offer
a reduced adoption fee for anyone adopting two kittens.
Roo & Rizzo are currently living in a foster
home. They came into the KCK Animal Control shelter when they were 3
weeks old. We transferred them to our care and placed them in a foster
home to be bottle fed and cared for. They're now old enough to be adopted.
They can be adopted together or separately.
Rizzo & Roo have started their vaccinations
and been tested for FIV and feline leukemia. They'll be spayed and microchipped
before going home. If you're interested in adopting them, please send
in an application first and then we can make arrangements for you to
meet up with kittens at the shelter or other convenient location.
Que is
a very friendly and good-natured Lab/Catahoula mix. He's got a beautiful
black coat with brindle markings.
Que's a pretty mellow guy and he loves
attention. He's probably do best in a fairly quiet home without young kids.
He gets along with other dogs and he seems to be housetrained or at least
crate trained.
Que is about 4 years old and he weighs 57 lbs. He's been neutered, vaccinated
and microchipped. He tested positive for heartworms but has completed heartworm
treatments.
