"Just a letter to update you on Oreo who I adopted from you in December of 2000. In my 47 years I have never loved a dog more than him. I had a severe heart attack and had to retire two years ago so he is my constant companion. Each day we go for a walk and on those days when my heart makes going up hills harder he leans into the leash and pulls me up. He is my best friend. I wake up every morning to find his head next to mine on the pillow and as I type this his head is resting on my foot.
