Tune in to help Kansas City’s homeless pets by watching the 10th Annual Kansas City Pet Telethon. Join hosts NBC Action News Chief Meteorologist Gary Lezak, 38 the Spot Host Holly Starr, as well as other local personalities for an evening of fun and furry programming. Meet adoptable pets, learn the latest in pet education and find out how you can save a life and give homeless pets a second chance. Plus, with your $60 gift or more you’ll receive a long-sleeve Pet Telethon shirt – perfect for showing your pet pride throughout the year!

We need your help to make the 2010 Pet Telethon the best ever. 40,000 people tune into the fun and furry TV program. Company sponsorships start at $500.

Or you can fundraise on your own and present your club or organization's Jumbo Check during the live TV program when you raise $750 or more! Help us reach other animal lovers like you by creating your free Pet Telethon fundraising webpage. It's fun and easy to do. If your webpage raises $750 or more then you can come on during the Pet Telethon and present your jumbo check in person! (Webpage must raise $750 by March 1 to confirm your on-air spot.)

Stuffed burrito anyone? Chipotle has partnered with The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City to help Kansas City’s homeless pets. On March 9, at all Kansas City-area Chipotles, when you present this flyer 50% of your meal purchase (up to $5,000) will benefit the shelter pets. So, grab your co-workers, friends, neighbors – everyone you know and head to Chipotle for lunch and dinner on March 9! (And don’t forget to bring the flyer to present it to your cashier.)
