"If you have men who will exclude any of God's creatures from the shelter of compassion and pity, you will have men who will deal likewise with their fellow men."
~ St. Francis of Assisi
Our staff and volunteers believe education is the key to ending cruelty toward animals, reducing pet overpopulation, and creating a more compassionate community.
Through school-based presentations, on-site tours, and distributing literature, we teach the importance of compassion toward animals, responsible pet care, and how to approach unfamiliar pets. Presenters are accompanied by a pet to demonstrate these important lessons that will last you a lifetime.
We also reach out to the community with our low-cost veterinary clinic, educating our clients about proper pet care and kindness towards animals.
We are continually striving to expand existing programs and to develop new ones in order to reach more people and help more animals.
