The dogs and cats at our shelter were originally at the KCK Animal Control shelter before we transferred them into our care through our Ray of Hope partnership with the city shelter. Since 2009, our Ray of Hope partnership with KCK Animal Control has reduced their euthanasia rate significantly.

Due to the large number of homeless pets in Wyandotte County who need our help, we take in pets from KCK Animal control only and we cannot accept pets outside of the county at this time. If you live in Wyandotte County and have a pet to surrender or have found a stray pet, contact KCK Animal Control or call them at 913-321-1445.
