Founded in 1912, The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City has been saving and improving the lives of dogs and cats in the Kansas City area for over 100 years. In 1994 we became the first no-kill shelter in KC. Our low-cost spay/neuter and preventive veterinary care clinic saves and improves the lives of thousands of animals every year. Thank you for your support of the animals! We can't help them without you!
The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City receives no funding from any state, city, or federal government organizations or from any national animal welfare organizations. Instead, the wonderful pets who receive care in our our no-kill shelter and low-cost clinic depend entirely on the generous donations of animal-lovers like you!
